Afgh isn't near religious freedom yet, but it's moving there. We need to stand up for this man's right to convert and NOT pull out just when Karzai's govt needs us the most...
Exactly. This is a very disturbing story. I am in prayer for this gentleman. Where is the U.N. in all of this???? They should be speaking loud and clear on this matter. I would also like to hear more from our Administration concerning this. Pres. Bush should personally call Karzai. The Pope should speak out, etc....

As long as Shar'ia is the law of Afghanistan, a real 'democracy' is impossible. The coalition should've never allowed it in the first place.
