Okay, obviously you aren't going to let it go so I will.
You were right, I was wrong. Feel better now?
BTW: The remark about your screen name was uncalled for, I think it's great that you love what you do and are proud of it. We should all have as much pride in ourselves and our work as you do. Have a nice day my friend.

You have shown you really don't care about conservatism. Your brand of conservatism is defending Republicans. My brand of conservatism is conservatism.
This is a conservative forum. I have posted 4,320 conservative posts at last tally. You post pro-Republican posts, even though there are many Republicans who are not conservative. You are a defender of Republicans, regardless of how liberal they are.
This forum was founded for conservatives for conservative activism. I have done my part in a fair and honest fashion to promote the conservative cause. All you do is defend Republicans, regardless of the direction they are taking us. You do not help the conservative cause by defending nonconservative agenda.
Jim Robinson, the founder of Free Republic, had this to say on the FR home page:
"In our continuing fight for freedom, for America and our constitution and against totalitarianism, socialism, tyranny, terrorism, etc., Free Republic stands firmly on the side of right, i.e., the conservative side."
Socialism has expanded in America since the founding of Free Republic. That is not even debatable. The OMB data is factual, not opinion. However, fighting socialism is still one of the goals of Free Republic and is something I have mentioned often in my 4,320 posts. I continue to fight it--you continue to defend socialist agendas.
Mr. Robinson also has this to say on the home page:
"Free Republic is the premier online gathering place for independent, grass-roots conservatism on the web. We're working to roll back decades of governmental largesse . . ."
My career has been in economics and financial services and all things financial, so my focus has always been on limited government, or in Jim Robinsons words, "we're working to roll back decades of governmental largesse."
4,320 posts and counting, and nearly all of them (except for some good old fashion RAT bashing and some attempts at humor) have been focused on government largesse and have been strictly pro-conservative.
I hate the RATs, you the RATs, we all hate the RATs, but my focus is on conservatism, which the founder of this forum made as his mission statement. You, Jim and I would have hoped that a Republican Congress and George Bush would have been 100% fiscally conservative but that has not been the case. I have yet to see Mr. Robinson change his focus and mission statement--it is STILL conservatism, thank God.
It is also interesting to note that national conservative commentators, who supported President Bush, have not changed their focus from conservatism to a new focus of "DEFENDER OF REPUBLICANS". You, however, have changed your focus from a fighter for conservatism to a defender of Republicans.
Your focus is on defense of party name. My focus is on the purpose of this forum--conservatism.

Have a nice day my friend.I appreciate that, but it didn't offend me at all. I made statements that were equally or more offensive to you. I don't take these things personally. I ask your forgiveness for being so short tempered. Had a bad week.
See you on another thread.

I ask your forgiveness for being so short tempered Nah, no big deal. If this is the worse we'd have to put up with all week, then we're doing pretty good! =)
See you later.

Are you trying to do a Helen Thomas impersonation?
I was being sarcastic when I asked if you wished to see my resume.
Gee, I didn't realize you were so serious and spun-up on this stupid issue.
Lighten up buddy, these posts are for my entertainment only. Nobody (meaning me) really gives a flying crap about Bush's demeanour.
Now be careful, if the wind changes while you are acting like Helen Thomas you will turn into cabbage head (just like her).

Nobody (meaning me) really gives a flying crap about Bush's demeanor.Glad to hear it (although you clearly fooled me).
Now be careful, if the wind changes while you are acting like Helen Thomas you will turn into cabbage head (just like her). You lost me through the sequence: wind change (acting like Thomas)leading to transformation into a cabbage head.
