The border problems are very much organized crime also. Illegals often pay coyotes by smuggling in drugs, false documents are big business. Some employers actually order a certain number of illegals delivered to them so it all get's trickier than people think. Then there is corruption and bribes to officials on both sides of the border. Everyone in the process makes big money off of the illegal who in many cases ends up in a situation very much like slavery.
