Right guest, right show, wrong scenario. She didn't get up and leave, she was told that she'd not be back for her second segment. She was originally scheduled for the release of one of her books (I think it was "In Defense of Internment"), and Matthews just badgered her over and over about something in a completely different book (the Swift Boats book). Wouldn't let her answer, etc.
It was so egregious that Zell Miller called Matthews out on it, the night that Zell (D-GA, ret.) gave that rousing speech at the REPUBLICAN National Convention. Zell said something like "You're not going to interrupt me like you did that woman the other day", and that's when he had challenged Matthews to a duel.
The one who left during a break was Bob Novak, the last time he was on CNN, and Serpent Head (CarVILE) was needling Novak about "looking tough for the right wing", whereupon Novak said that was just Bravo Sierra" (though he used the real B.S. on the air), got up and walked out of the studio.
