Don't forget the tornados. Every day three or four whooshing down Main Street. And rattlesnakes. Rattlesnakes under the refrigerator, rattlesnakes in the sock drawer, rattlesnakes in the kid's crib...

If he boosts all the tolls on the GSP and the Turnpike, I'll have more of an excuse not to see the Monster In Law...but it could backfire if she decides to emigrate out of the Garbage State.
Give it time...EVERY fee will go up. They will follow Connecticut's example and levy a Car and Business Equipment tax....just watch.

And Florida is just a bunch of hick rednecks that riot when votes don't go our way.
And did I mention the Mosquitoes and Palmetto bugs that can fly away with your pet dog?
And you cant get a decent bagel or Bialy.

If you vote for a tax raising Democrat to govern your state, you should be forced to stay and face the consequences of your actions.

Tornadoes? You Lucky bastards. Here in NC we get Hurricanes every week. My house has been knocked over 12 times this year already. We have to live on barges most of the year while we rebuild the house because of the flooding. You complain about snakes? We'd kill to have snakes around here to eat the mosquitoes.

Whatever you do...don't go to Oklahoma. Oh, and Missouri sucks real bad. No jobs, gas is like $8/gal, crime is through the roof....oh wait, that might sound appealing to people from NJ.

Just one note about how ridiculous this is:
The net result of a tax increase will be a net decrease in tax revenues due to the negative impact of the tax-rate increase on the economy. They NEVER learn.

Anyone who voted for him and is shocked at this is an idiot. The people who voted for him either don't pay taxes or are encased in the liberal gated community of higher education.
As for the average New Jersey voter.....Forest Gump's mamma was right.....
stupid is as stupid does.
I predict Corzine will get bored with being the Governor just as he got bored with being Senator......and resign before his term is up

Maybe I'm being delusional, but my prediction is that these tax hikes are not going to materialize to the extent that they have been described here.
Corzine can propose anything he wants, but anyone in the state legislature who remembers what happened during the Florio administration isn't going to go out on a limb for his budget if it means their jobs in Trenton are threatened.

Hi Darkwolf377-"...Anyone who voted for him and is shocked at this is an idiot..."
I'm convinced that many knucklehead voters cast their ballot based on the number of red, white, and blue campaign Corzine signs they saw dotting the landscape. It was somewhat of a popularity contest. The boring fade-into-the-background green, gold, and gray signs Forrester used sure didn't cause folks to remember his name. I question whether any urban voters even knew he was Corzine's opponent?
While both Liberal Jon Corzine and RINO Doug Forrester have tons of money, Corzine had much more available and was able to spread his name around more effectively.
It will be curious to see if the leftists start crying when they're forced to pay taxes on groceries, toilet paper, clothing, and other basic necessities. It'll be a hoot when sales tax increases from 6% up to 10% on everything else and people start flocking to Pennsylvania or Delaware for big shopping trips.

Crazy thing is - Corzine ran on the promise to cut property taxes. Just goes to show you, ya can't trust a democrat.

Whatever you do...don't go to Oklahoma. The ticks are the size of dimes....And the chiggers are an epidemic...The humidity in the summer is absolutely horrible....and the winter's are colder than Hillary Clinton's heart. Sounds nicer than Jersey. :-)
