We need to get Judge Cahill to run for SC Justice here in Alabama. :-)
The part of Hoover where the illegals have taken over has become a ghetto. It's the Lorna Road area. People who had homes our property there are in bad shape now.
The Bham News reported a murder there just last night.
You can't even stop and get gas in that area, especially as a female. I live a few miles from there. They also use the bathroom outside.
I agree with adding that item, I don't agree with the priority.
Legal immigration quotas are meaningless when you can't control the border. Upwards of 1500 illegals per night, each and every night of the year, are crossing the Arizona/Mexico border and getting caught.
Three times that number (4500) make it across undetected, according to the BP.
Until we seal the border, no change in quotas will have any effect whatsoever; especially when so much money is involved on the Mexican side in moving the human cargo north.
It's a shame that the race baiting Birmingham news had to use the term Hispanics.
There are many Hispanics that are here legally that contribute a tremendous amount to this metro Bham area.
Hoover also has a lot of section 8 housing in that same Lorna Road area, btw.
The priority is political more than it is operational. It removes the employers' claim that there would be a severe labor shortage were these people deported. It also creates more energy within the immigrant community to see that illegals are deported.
I'll avoid Lorna Road, then.
"orders hispanics"...more lies form the liberal media. The judge ordered "illegals", not "hispanics".
!
... We could use judges like this here in Toothless Fairfax County. ;)
Who is doing the "race baiting"? Huh? Them or you?

That judge needs a Federal appointment!
As per the article, if anyone needs a lawyer to advocate for illegals:

I see your point...
Securing the border is going to take 2-3 years at the least; what you suggest should be implemented concurrently.
Actually, all proposals should be implemented ASAP.
increcibly misleading headline
I'll raise your "!" by a "!?" ;*)
It's too bad this judge is an only child. We could use a man like him in this area.
Correct.
IMO the run on the borders was, in part, fabricated by a deliberately incompetent and artificially constrained legal immigration system. NO ONE on capitol hill would fight fixing it. Including it in our focus makes life very difficult for the race baiters and properly frames them as complicit in a tacit slave class. Advocacy for fixing that problem is an astute political move that costs very little.
