I've been boycotting Citgo gas for some time now; I try to stop there for some non-monetary things such as if I'm on the road and have to take a leak or empty the ashtrays.

Hey........Chavez..........you're the equivalent of a "keyboard cowboy" on the Internet; talk big, but you'd piss your pants and cower in the corner if Bush sent in Special Forces to take your sorry Commie ass out.
Screw this piece of s**t.

"You're an alcoholic Mr. Danger, or rather, you're a drunkard," Chavez said, referring to Bush by a nickname he frequently uses to describe the U.S. president.Mr. Danger? I think someone else has a drinking (or cocaine) problem, and it is not Mr. Danger!

"In a related story, President Bush calls Chavez a doodie-head."LMAO..............thanks for the best laugh I've had in days.....

Poor little guy. He's trying so hard to get some attention and nobody is even listening to him. It must be frustrating to be considered so inconsequential.

Donkey? Drunkard?
Sorry Hugo there is only one person that comes to mind when I hear those two word uttered together.

I used to use Citgo gas, shop at the local station's minimart and use their car wash. I haven't been there for any purpose in about two years. Won't go there until Chavez is gone.

Of course the reason Chubby feels cocky enough to make these adolescent remarks about the president (and Condi too) is that many of the Democrats in the U.S. senate are doing the same. Anyways, this just shows how intellectually bankrupt the Left is. The only thing they stand for is standing against Boosh and making offensive comparisons to Hitler even while supporting regimes that want to annihilate Israel.

Breaking News: "The National Association of Donkeys and Drunkards (NADD) and the National Association of Retching Democrats) (NARD) has declared solidarity with Puko Chavez. "
Chavez has expressed his heartfeld gratitude for the support from all the NADDs and NARDs.

Interesting that the Reuters account that you linked to proud_yank, didn't have these little tidbits that Swiss Info felt compelled to add.
Chavez was elected in 1998 on an anti-poverty platform, and has used billions of dollars in oil revenues to finance development programs for the poor as part of his self-styled socialist revolution.
He won a overwhelming victory in a recall referendum in 2004, but his critics at home and in Washington say he is centralising power in an increasingly authoritarian system and cracking down on political opponents
First off, I defy Swiss Info, the UN or anybody else to verify exactly how much funding is going to the poor in Hugie's socialist reform. I'd wager not very darned much.
Secondly, he won by an "overwhelming majority" in large part because our own President Peanut hot-footed down to declare the election legitimate despite a LOT of questions as to ballot stuffing and other questionable election practices.
So Swiss Info spins a bit for Hugie...
