U.S. Army Top Fuel racer Schumacher entered Saturday's final two rounds of time trails unqualified, and started his final pass sitting on the bump spot, but four and a half seconds later he was in more familiar territory as the event's No. 1 qualifier. Funny Car's John Force, Pro Stock's Greg Anderson, and Pro Stock Motorcyclist Ryan Schnitz joined Schumacher on the low qualifier's podium as the 37th annual ACDelco NHRA Gatornationals completed its elimination fields.
Schumacher's last-gasp 4.515 at 325.96 mph kept him perfect on the season as he earned his third low qualifier award of the year. It was the same story for Anderson, who led the quickest Pro Stock field ever with a 6.637 at 207.51 mph, keeping him a perfect 3-for-3 in qualifying this season. Force used Friday's 4.751 at 323.62 mph to stay low in his class, while the unsponsored Schnitz made a big plea for corporate funding by earning the No. 1 designation in Pro Stock Motorcycle with a 7.012 at 188.63 mph.

Drag Racing Ping list.....let me know if you want on it.
The runs in Florida are a little slower.
LAS VEGAS is next month! It is the BEST track and viewing in the NHRA! Make plans if you haven't!
Yow! Bikes soon to be in the sixes! Pro Stock deep into the sixes and quicker than Top Fuel used to be in the late 60's and early 70's!
But I miss the Stock and Super Stock classes. All those old muscle cars...
I'll be watching the races on ESPN tonight with the volume CRANKED WAY UP!
Force just won his round by a foot. 322 MPH.
Did you see how close that race was that Dixon lost?
He lost by a couple of inches!
Exactly! A couple of inches is right. How close can you get? That's what I was just telling my father.
He can't believe they have to rebuild the engines after running only 1/4 mile. LOL! 7,000 HP is hard on a motor.
Force advances to the final after running 323 MPH.
Troxel makes it to the finals again. Darn, team Schumacher is taking home a trophy from every event. Too bad Gary Scelzi is not doing so well.
I just hope to see Bob Bode do well in Vegas. Nice guy!
The times weren't all that impressive at this meet; I guess it was from the heavy air. O'Reilley nationals is next, then Las Vegas.
Wait until we get some cool, dense summer evenings with heavy moisture. You will see some records fall this year.
Force wins again! Angel wins again. The other girls had problems with their cars right off the line and lost.
All in all, it was a pretty interesting race day.
