Did you listen to the scrap from today's NYT editorial? I have been saying for the last week or so that the MSM is now advancing the "action line" that the war is Iraq is a complete failure. They will allow NO facts to intervene. (Being part of FR is making me precient :)

The Left keeps saying Shinseki was retired early. IIRC, he spent a normal four year assignment as the Army CofS.
Your recollection is correct. His retirement was as scheduled. I have even heard Kerry and others say he was fired. Just keep repeating the lie and people will come to believe it.
