If Guiliani was calculating, he could have been weaselly about abortion: you know the keep it safe, keep it rare BS we heard from Clinton. Instead, he laid out a libertarian argument for letting it remain a woman's decision and that of her doctor and family. That's why he thinks its consistent with being a Republican. I'm pro-life but I can respect someone who is honest about his views. Hillary strikes me as the epitome of the slick politician.

It isn’t just his pro-abortion stance; although that’s one of the issues I will not compromise on. It is also his anti-Second Amendment stance (another issue I will not compromise on). And it is his lifestyle, diddling his girlfriend in Gracie Mansion, just as one example.

How many Rudi supporters were raising hell about Clinton getting lewinskys in the White House? Are you ready for a Republican who does that?

But as I said, character does matter. I’m still optimistic enough to believe that there are enough Republicans who believe that to keep Rudi from getting the nomination. We know character doesn’t matter to Democrats but for 8 years we claimed it did to Republicans. It looks like we’ll get to see if that was all talk or real conviction.
