Letter: AG probing ’04 primary mail-in ballots[South Texas Democrats]

EDINBURG — The Attorney General’s Office is investigating mail-in ballots cast in the 2004 Democratic primary, according to a letter it sent to Hidalgo County Elections Administrator Teresa Navarro.

The letter did not specify what the investigation was focusing on. But the office requested a copy of each mail-in ballot application and a copy of each official carrier envelope returned in that election.

"This office has received allegations of improprieties with an unknown number of absentee mail-in ballots in that election," the March 10 letter read.

Navarro said it appears the investigation involves a total of 12 counties that were involved in the same statewide or federal race — it was not a local race — and that she suspects the investigation stems from illegal politiquera activity.

County workers are currently gathering thousands of ballots and envelopes to send to the Attorney General.

"It’s going to be tedious for them to look into it," Navarro said. "It’s a state race, but they’re not telling me what they’re looking at."

Attorney General’s spokesman Tom Kelley said the office does not comment on or acknowledge whether it is conducting an investigation.

There is along history to sleezy Texas democrat party corruption.

My father remembers meeting "Landslide Lyndon" (LBJ) in 1948 in Texas, before he stole the Texas democrat primary for US Senator with tens of thousands of phony South Texas ballots. LBJ "won" by a few hundred votes, in what was tantamount to winning the general election.

My dad was equally amazed at how awful LBJ was, as well as the crookedness of the Texas democrat party. My father registered as a Republican in 1950... he was the ONLY white Republican in the county! (The other Republicans were all black!)

As a youngster, I recall my Father voting straight Republican back in 1960 and then again in '64. It was tough sledding in San Antonio.

That the MSM was able to bury or ignore all the details of this completely debauched President scares me to this day.

Slowly, quietly, behind the scenes, voter crime across the country is being investigated.

The RATS are in trouble in so many ways.

"Landslide Lyndon" won the '48 Democrat Run-Off by only 87 votes, after coming in second to Coke Stevenson in the primary election.

"...he was the ONLY white Republican in the county"

Both black and white Republicans were lynched by the KKK/democrats back then.

Thank your father for me.

Thanks to all. Not an active thread, but of enormous personal interest!

And "Landslide Lyndon" winning the '48 Democrat Run-Off by only 87 fake votes, after coming in second to Coke Stevenson in the primary election... LOL!

These Texas democrat criminals are the same lower life forms who tried to frame Senator Kaye Hutchinson, tried to frame Predident Bush with phony CBS documents, and are now trying to frame Tom Delay! A pox on their house!

"A pox on their house!"

Agreed. May they reap what they sowed. In spades.

Hidalgo County is mostly Ruben Hinojosa District 15 and part is in Lloyd Doggett's District 25.

Might be District 15, looks like it has 11 counties and parts of Hidalgo and Cameron. I know both Bee and Jim Wells counties had voter problems in 2004.
