Must we measure popularity like it's some kind of popularity contest?

"Must we measure popularity like it's some kind of popularity contest?"

Actually, this is very important - he's never gonna get reelected with numbers like this... /s

I'm in Arizona registered as no party designated. I have recently become a "broken glass" republican. I will vote for anyone over a democrat. When (and if) the democrats get rid of the anti-American party leaders, I may rethink my stand.

True independents simply don't exist in present American politics. Some people may call themselves "independent" or register as an independent, but they're mostly liberal (and conservative) ideologues and thus vote mostly Democrat (or Republican). The true independents in this political situation largely do not exist because the parties are so diabolically opposed to one another. The Democrats embrace the agenda of the American people: secularism, sedition, socialism, surrender. Republicans reject every one of these planks. I suppose that some people might support socialism but reject surrender, but our enemies support socialism and why would those opposed to surrendering to them want to embrace their economic system?

That joke isn't funny now and the laughs will be on us if because of W's big spending and inability to articulate a vision the dims take back the house. Investigations...attempt to impeach...they will shred whatever he has left.

It does seem to be getting harder and harder to find politicans in both parties that you can agree with; the distance between the two is often too great.

2006 and 2008 elections will be interesting.

FReeper RINO's forget that it was John O'Neill,
and Viet Nam Vets who saved America from
hanoi kerry.

Without vital support from Independents the GOP can't win.

Karl Rove nailed it exactly

Do you think W is making some progress, however modest, in triming back some programs and reducing the rate of growth. I'm not satisfied with the result, and understand that we are a Nation at War, but we are doing a little better I think W will continue to take us that way.

It is funny when you realise that all they have to beat is the Bushes for their platform (whatever that is??????).
I'm sorry I'm not panicking. The Dimwits are without direction. The only campaign slogan they have is BUSH LIED.
I truly do not believe this will gain them Congress.

Well I'm really distressed with his spending and some of his cronyism in regards to appointments
Ditto for the borders.
I like the guy but even I am tired of his inability to articulate...it's not funny anymore...The Dow just hit a 5 year high we have a 4.7 unemployment rate and most of the country thinks we have a bad economy ...what is wrong with these guys" They should be pounding the dims senseless with these numbers. If he can't trrumpet good news how can he rally the Country for the WOT?
Very happy with his SCOTUS picks.
Very happy with his slapping around the UN.
So it's a mixed bag...happy he was there but ready for new blood.
