I'm shilling for Giuliani...not because he's a conservative, but because he's the closest thing to a Churchill around today.
If you recall, Churchill was voted out of office only three months after the end of WWII.
I might be wrong, but I think Giuliani is a "war president."
Oh...and remember, we are at war.

There is not one abortion he won't allow or one gun he will. If he gets the evangelical vote, or if Republicans win without them, I'll be feasting on crow for a month, but I both hope and believe that won't happen.

I think the high level of support that Rudy would receive from the Nascar Republicans would truly surprise the experts.

I'm with you on Giuliani. I heard him speak at a seminar and my high opinion of him was reinforced. What a great man. This country would be very well served by Rudy.

Giuliani isn't even going to run in 2008, because he knows better than anyone else that he'd lose in a Mondale-like landslide in either the GOP primaries or in the general election.

Evangelicals WILL NOT vote for a pro-choice leader. It isn't going to happen. Get used to this idea, because a Guiliani candidacy in 08 translates into a HRC presidency. The R's might keep congress, but if evangelicals are faced with two candidates, both of which are pro-choice, there's going to be a lot of third party voting or no-voting.
