WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Two additional deaths have been reported after women took the abortion pill known as RU-486 or Mifeprex, U.S. regulators said on Friday.
The Food and Drug Administration said it has not been able to determine the cause of the newly reported deaths. Four previously reported fatalities were linked to a bacterial infection that developed after the women took the abortion pill, which is sold by privately held Danco Laboratories.
Shouldn't that be 4 more deaths!!!
You beat me to it
Warning: pill is fatal if swallowed.
Contraceptive drugs - like all drugs - carry risks. So does every decision one makes in life...and life itself.
Your name says it all.
You are right, of course.
But these pills carry risks to those who have not assumed that risk.
The abortion pill is the only one on your list specifically intended to take a human life.
Difference is... one product is designed to kill another life. And our "benevolent" government has allowed it to happen.
it's only newsworthy if you die from bird flu.
Has this pill killed more adults than Vioxx? I sure would like to know. The media will freak out and blitz the airwaves when something that works for people is yanked off the shelves, but probably not in this instance...
The warning label should read; 'May cause death to more than one person'.
When you think about it - not sure I would want to take a pill designed for exterminating human life.
You must have substantial experience with the risks of drug taking.
Karma's a bitch, huh, ladies?
They pulled some MS drug off the market for two deaths...When they gonna pull RU486?
Line the lawyers up.
Sell your stock in Danco now.
