Taliban Releases New Beheading Video from Waziristan (Images)
The propaganda arm of the Taliban, Ummat Studios, has released a new propaganda video of alleged criminals who have been beheaded or otherwise killed in Waziristan. Graphic images from the video are posted below.
The high-production value video warns Muslims against cooperating with 'apostate' regimes, such as Pakistan's Pervez Musharraf and praises violent jihad. The video quotes the Quran and sayings of the Prophet Muhammed to justify the killing of what are allegedly highway robbers and other common criminals. It shows their mutilated bodies being displayed as a warning to crowds of people. The underlying warning is that the same fate awaits those who would cooperate with secular regimes which will not implement harsh Sharia (Islamic) law.

This is exactly what these animals are doing in Iraq and Afghanistan and what our warriors are fighting against. Why the f*** can't the enemy within recognize evil when it confronts them, even when it bites them in the ass?

They are untrainable animals. Their so-called religion is a cult of death, and those who proclaim otherwise are liars. They should be radiated until crispy.

There is nothing to rethink. The purpose of the video is to recruit terrorists, and the terrorists are happy to have useful idiots like Rusty Shackleford to propagate their message.

This is a primitive society trying to force its value system on a 21st century civilization.
They seem to feel that "if you can't keep up with them in the real world, then beat the crap out of them and feel superior".
It's hard to think in 12th century terms to understand their motives but they are noticeably primitive.
"Monkey see, monkey do" = "Radical read in the Koran, radical do". It replaces having to actually think.

I would counter that context sets the stage for images. Further, the video, with its Nasheed soundtrack and other statements, are not actually shown.
What is shown is the brutality of the Taliban within the context of an explanation as to just how brutal the Taliban are.
Using enemy propaganda for your own purposes is one of the oldest tricks in the book.
Aid and comfort is assigned to those who call murdering animals such as these "miscreants" and "youths".
Oh please, their best recruitment videos are STILL the ones of the planes flying into the World Trade Center.
