David Gregory Going Nuts at WH Briefing
Fox News

Everyone's favorite rabid Bush-hater is ripping into McClellan at a WH briefing on today's action in Iraq. Gregory is all over McClellan with charges that Bush has authorized this "bloody attack" to raise his poll numbers. Helen Thomas has just chimed in to say that Bush is a war criminal in his "unauthorized attack in Iraq" (unauthorized by the UN abd MSM). That "preemptive war is unacceptable." As McClellan replies Thomas bores ahead. Quite a sight. Reporters are now challenging McClellan on the US' right to defend itself. The masks are sure off the Dinosaur Press, folks.

Ari was good but WH needs to go totally against type. They need to bring in a "Darth Vader"...someone who commands respect and fear! Someone who would run the room instead of the other way around...not someone who would allow Helen T. and David G. to say the type of things they say. This has gone on long enough. The press room is taking on the characteristics of a pre-K day school.
Agreed....someone like Amb Bolton for example.

...having McClellan go into there and flame out every day, isn't working. How about having Cheney or Rummy or Rice talk to them instead?

Let's get Mark Levin in there!
YES! Somebody has to be the "hero!"

He's spineless and uses manipulation instead of standing up like a man and defending our President. He is a poor representation of our administration McClellan should know he is OUT of his league defending this Administration. I cannot stand to watch this wimp defend President Bush. McClellan needs to resign NOW. The WOT is a multi-front war. The leftist MSM is the enemy within. They are 100% committed to sabotaging this effort. The MSM is 100%s committed to destroying this President. To have that sissy, wimpy McClellan battling the press is utterly insane. We need someone who will wake up each morning with the sole purpose of show the press to be the vile traitors they truly are. McClellan deserves contempt because he has to be aware of the damage he is doing to this Administration by allowing the commie press to make this Administration look inept and more importantly, put our Brave Warriors lives at risk. Someone in the terrorists ranks must look at these briefings and report that they are winning b/c the way the press manhandles McClellan.

They should have their credentials pulled.

That is true. I would love to see someone open up a good old-fashioned can of "Whoop Butt". That would require popcorn.

I think McClellan is a hero for dealing with these jerks day in and day out. hero? you have to be kidding. Our Brave Warriors are Heros! McClellan is a wimp who lets the press run all over him. (see my previous post)
To: gidget7
I know it is annoying, but I believe McClellan has his marching orders and performs exactly as directed. If he wasn't so easy on them the world wouldn't get to see what idiots they are. I'll never forget during the VP hunting accident the press was so stupid that even my 20 year old granddaughter started laughing at them. Now if someone like her, who has been exposed to the liberal propaganda all her life, can see what's going on it is likely that many in this country are seeing the MSM in their true light for the first time. We should be grateful that they've lost any vestige of finesse.

at this point there is no one to blame but the President for not pulling some press passes. The press is there by invitation. The President has no obligation to talk to them. True enough. Let them rant for today and then collect their press passes when they leave and let NBC know that they are no longer welcome at the White House until further notice. Same for the Burka Babe Helen Thomas. Time to just escort her out and give her a kick in the arse with an "and don't come back".

Cheney made a huge mistake a long time ago by deciding to "turtle" with regards to his media appearances - he simply will not do any (the hunting accident aside), or will only do them with Brit Hume. a big mistake. his approval rating is in the tank, and he is no longer an effective spokesperson for the administration, except amongst the hard core in the base.
Rumsfeld's press conferences are the best - he takes the issues head on, challenges people, and doesn't take any BS from the liberal scum in the media. everyone in the administration should learn from the way Rumsfeld conducts himself at press conferences.

...that's why Gregory and Thomas do this, they understand the goal they are trying to achieve.
"Perxactly!"
And, McClellan must be close to a nervous breakdown having to undergo this inhumane treatment day in, day out. The president is not doing himself, his administration or Mr. McClellan any favor by keeping him in that position.

what does helen thomas look like pix plzNOOOO! Please, please no PIX. She is earlier in the thread. God forgive me, but her image is the one that makes you recoil in horror.

Someone who deals with the rabid press every day and reiterates Bush's policies over and over again in the face of that is no wimp.
Sorry you feel that way about a man who does his job with honor.
