I would guess that the arrest of senior government officials and the loss of their operation to plant 400 Al Queda operatives was their first sign that something had gone wrong..

Extrapolate that to " They will be questioning people and finding certain ties and links to Iran.."
Suddenly, the need to "defuse" the situation becomes very important..

I am very confident that ties to Iran will be found..
We have warned Iran about getting involved in Iraq..
Repeatedly..

Maybe it's time we highlight our concerns with some "shock and awe" directed at key locations in Iran..

Oh.. and Syria, too..
Just because...

Among weapons caches, they are now finding military uniforms.

Fox's Hurricane Katrina coverage pretty much ended my viewing of Fox News. I had already stopped watching all the opinion shows, including Fox News Sunday after Tony Snow left, and the morning shows. I do like John Scott though. Is he still on at 9:00 a.m? I just don't watch any of them anymore.

I am sure the 3rd story would be the releasing of the Iraq Documents...

because President Bush's numbers are REALLY low.

God Bless all those who are serving. My Son heads for Iraq in a couple weeks. Now I am able to comprehend what all of those that have had loved ones in country, have been going thru. I have a feeling I will not be able to get much accomplished in the next year.

Found more on Google News:

"Attack and assault aircraft provided aerial weapons support for the operation and also delivered troops from the Iraqi army's 4th Division; the "Rakkasans" from 1st and 3rd Battalions, 187th Infantry Regiment, of the U.S. Army; and the "Hunters" from 2nd Squadron, 9th Cavalry Regiment, U.S. Army, to "multiple objectives" according to a Multinational Force Iraq statement. Forces from Iraq's 2nd Commando Brigade then completed a ground infiltration to secure numerous structures in the area, officials said. "

The US military says it has launched its biggest air assault in Iraq since the invasion in 2003.

It says the operation involves more than 50 aircraft and 1,500 Iraqi and US troops as well as 200 tactical vehicles.

The target is suspected insurgents operating near the town of Samarra, 60 miles north of Baghdad.

I have been praying that God would lead our military to the source of the terrrorism, and to quick victory.

May this be a significant step toward that end!

Hooah!!
