I work at an engineering company and I guess it is the warped sense of humour of engineers they all seem to love Far Side humour.
I was an anthropology student, so Gary Larson became very popular in those circles as well. My fav Far Side cartoon is the one of the cave children in an class room, with a hairy ape sitting in the middle of the class, and the cave teacher is saying "well it looks like one of us won't be moving up today."
I really wish Larson would allow his comics to be put up on the internet.
I love your page on Cheney - btw!! I still remember his debate with Lieberman in 2000 - I watched that and then turned to my husband and sighed "I think I'm in LUUUUURVE!!!!"
