FReeper Canteen ~ What's The Origin Of Your Screenname? ~ March 16, 2006
Ms.Behavin

Posted on 03/15/2006 5:59:14 PM PST by StarCMC

What is the origin of your screen name?

Come tell us your story....

How'd ya choose your screen name?
A situation in your life?
Part of a song?
Your Military service?

For me, it was three times I came across "Misbehavin"
that decided it for me!
I bought a blouse that had that on the tag...
Then my MIL gave me a book about a cat called Ms.Behavin..
Then I heard the song "Ain't Misbehavin!"

So there ya have it!
Have fun!
Please, no politics in The Canteen..
We want our troops to rest, relax and relate!

Now tell us YOUR story!!

My screen name came about when I was laid off from a union job and the union representative nor the union helped me out. All those years paying dues for nothing. Got the screwing of my life. Never be union again, thank you very much.

LOL! It was either Barbara Walters or Oprah, but I'm pretty sure it was Barbara Walters. ;-)

Thanks. I am so sick of illegals sucking our country bone-dry. Here in Dallas, the local school district wants to hire illegals as school principals...after all, they already speak the language of all the illegal children our system serves.

I'm ready to stand on the border and defend Her.

My screenname you mean??

My first name is Starlette -- but no one pronounces it right which annoys me (accent equal on both parts -- most people accent only the first part) so I generally go by Star. CMC -- I am a consultant for a scrapbooking company -- Creative Memories. Thus the CMC. When I took the name I had NO IDEA that CMC stood for commandant of the MArine Corps. LOL!!

Oh, right, you are on the list! It always amazes how many people - not just FReepers - are really fried over that issue.

Isn't it obvious?

I'm an NCO, and I'm old.

I just look younger and handsome on FR threads.
