Thanks for the additional comments and links.

I am not immune to the call for a third party. I don't mind being taken to task for doing so, because I'd rather be trashed for supporting third parties over turd parties. That being said, there isn't anyone out there on the horizon capable of leading a third party of consequence at the moment. And that means political suicide for those to risk it now, and a real risk of losing the political seats of power for those most closely holding our views.

Let's get real. We are being sold out by both parties. One finds the Marxist / Socialist ideal much to be desired. The other finds the Marxist model of international trade to be much desired. Neither of the long term futures these parties see in their long term sights, appeal to me.

As for the 15% limit on interest rates, I'm not totally against that. I do think some credit companies extend their products to high risk individuals, suffer increased losses and need to recoup those loses. Does that require 30% plus interest rates, exorbitant penalty fees piled on top? I'm not convinced. Rather than the government coming in to regulate those rates though, I'd rather see people take a pass on those credit concerns. I do.

I don't honestly know what rates would cover their losses and still maintain a profit. I still see 30% plus rates and additional late fees to be usurious.
