WASHINGTON Sen. Russell Feingold on Tuesday blamed fellow Democrats for inaction on his stalled resolution to censure President Bush for his authorizing the National Security Agency's electronic terrorist surveillance program.
"I'm amazed at Democrats ... cowering with this president's numbers so low," said Feingold, D-Wis. "The administration ... just has to raise the specter of the War on Terror, and Democrats run and hide."

Hey, sometimes a Dem has to go all wacky to gin up support from the moonbats.
I'll bet Howard Dean is on board though.

ROTFLMAO!
So, if POTUS poll numbers were higher Feingold could understand democrats not going along with his censure fabrication?
That's principle over politics? LOL!

He HAS won friends... Russie is now the CHAMPION of the moonbat wing at the DNC. Those idiots over at the Daily Kos will embrace him for this absurd, gesture of defiance.

I'm not sure how that benefits Russ. He might win the democRAT nomination, but he's being to Hillary's left is guaranteed to lose the election. 1) Leftists don't understand that the people reject their stupid ideas, that's why they keep losing.
2) Even if he does understand it, Feingold has to win the primary or else he has no chance at the general, so he'll do whatever it takes to get there, including bringing down his own party.
To: ncountylee
How the heck can Feingold label Democrats chicken when he wouldn't even stand to debate his resolution. His grandstanding move, rather than enhancing his status, served to demonstrate his true colors as one unfit to lead.

I heard someone say on the radio the other day, the irony is rich, a liberal democrat who shat upon the First Amendment, trying to bring false charges against a sitting President accusing him of shredding the Bill of Rights, and the President is the one who did not exercise the veto to stop his desecration of the First Amendment in the first place.
I support President Bush on a lot of things, but his failure to veto the McCain-Feingold bill just disappointed me to no end. If THAT isn't an impingement on the First Amendment...there is no such thing.
