I love the stuff, still like to get a jar or two if I can find Cathay Maid brand.

The stuff sold in US supermarkets (i.e. Albertson's, etc) generally sucks and is all soggy. If you can find an oriental market specialty grocer, they will generally have big jars of the fresh crunchy stuff...

Kimchee changes your body odor? That would really freak out your dogs. You would look and sound the same but you would smell like someone else. Poor pups would be so confused.
