With so much post-war evidence to go through still who knows what is to come. But I see a large serving of crow is on the future menu for the anti-war moonbats.

Audiotapes of Saddam Hussein and his aides underscore the Bush administration's argument that Baghdad was determined to rebuild its arsenal of weapons of mass destruction once the international community had tired of inspections and left the Iraqi dictator alone.

Well duh, any moron knows that...unless you're not, and you're an idiot, a DemocRat, a LSM idiot.

The documents also speak of burying prohibited missiles

but but...how could they bury something they didn't have? (sarc)

This made for a nice front-page headline while browsing at the local 7-11 this morning.

Wait a minute ... this weekend on ABC's evening news Bill Wier (or, whatever his name) stated clearly that Saddam didn't have weapons of mass destruction, that he only said he did to intimidate Iran. Wier was so sincere ... which, given the facts to the contrary, makes Wier one liberal dumb sum-of-a-b****.

From the article:

"Terrorism is coming ... with the Americans," Saddam said. "With the Americans, two years ago, not a long while ago, with the English I believe, there was a campaign ... with one of them, that in the future there would be terrorism with weapons of mass destruction."
...
Of the tapes released so far, Mr. Hoekstra said, "Everything [Saddam] is doing is saying, 'Let's take it and hide it' with a clear intent. 'As soon as this is over, we're going to be back after this.' "
...
Mr. Duelfer concluded that Saddam planned to resume weapons of mass destruction production once the United Nations lifted economic sanctions.

The issue wasn't that Saddam had WMD's, but whether or not he had Stockpiles. This means, he had to have had his WMD's piled in a specific arrangment, to a certain height.

If there were no Stockpiles, then Bush lied, and troops died.

This is too difficult for the Mainstream Media to dig into and digest. It will require a lot of work and analysis.

Instead, if we want to discuss boring stuff like WMDs, let's talk about how Bush and Cheney lied and illegally exposed Valerie Plame...

Oh, how sweet it would be for the President to hold a news conference and read translated Iraqi documents about the attempts to get uranium.

Mr. Tierney made a copy, which he provided to the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. The committee in turn gave a copy to intelligence analysts who authenticated the voice as that of Saddam.

Sould we email this to Rusty Feingold???

"Audiotapes of Saddam Hussein and his aides underscore the Bush administration's argument that Baghdad was determined to rebuild its arsenal of weapons of mass destruction once the international community had tired of inspections and left the Iraqi dictator alone. In addition to the captured tapes, U.S. officials are analyzing thousands of pages of newly translated Iraqi documents that tell of Saddam seeking uranium from Africa in the mid-1990s."

Well, whattaya know...Joe Wilson was lying all along, as are most RATS.

Drudge isn't even talking about this yet (but I sent him the link). And the only direct WMD quote from the tape talks about how the factories could be rebuilt, or at least that's what it seems to say. This still seems like an almost-story that's not quite ready for release.
