You’re right. Read Jim Rob’s comments on that thread. He told her by FReep mail that she was talking to Mark and to knock off her libelous smears. She ignored Jim Rob and he bounced her.
I wouldn't have known because if I'm on a busy thread where I'm the one answering other people's posts, I don't go back to the main page, I hit refresh, read the new comments and spend time responding. I wouldn't have seen Jim's FReepmail until it was too late. So I don't know that bayourant was ignoring Jim.

Jim I have been on some of the threads bayourant was on regarding the port deal. As can be seen by checking my posting history, I was in favor of allowing the deal to go through. There were posts on both sides which would make me cringe due to their ugliness. I didn't like the pro side being nasty because it was counterproductive. And, of course, I didn't like the anti side getting nasty because I'd want to respond in kind. I noticed bayourant's posts but it wasn't because they'd make me cringe but because he was also in support like I was..
As I mentioned in my post 612, I had to listen several times to the tape to fully comprehend how Mr. Levin used the word. I could see where Mr. Levin using the term mudball could have been heard as calling Major General Abizaid a mudball (even though bayourant used dirtball).
In this post it's obvious at least to me, bayourant wasn't aware holdonnow was Mr. Levin.

I am not referring to you. I said a major conservative talk show host. Also look at the what I wrote. THe fact that when people say race played no factor at all by anyone is ludricous. I know many that race did not play a factor in this. Others not so. These images are circulating in the UAE now. Better to confront the issue athan ignore it.

THese editoralcartoons are now starting to circulate in the blogsphere. It might be a issue we have to confront when we say race was never a issue. bayourant made the mistake of not believing Mark Levin would actually be posting as shown by his post #43. At post 69 bayourant mentions the thread from the day in question and he says no one corrected him on the thread when he said it there.
I understand you had FReepmailed bayourant to correct him and told him to retract what he said. I don't know how bayourant reads the forum but I know I wouldn't have seen your FReepmail until it was too late. See, when I'm involved in a busy thread where I'm getting a lot of responses, I don't go to the main page, I hit refresh while I'm in the thread. I would have been too busy refreshing and responding to notice I had FReepmail.
Would you maybe reconsider the banning of bayourant, please? If I'm out of line for asking, I'm sorry. Normally I wouldn't say anything to you about your decisions but this one time I can see where it all got messed up.
