If a reporter has his opinion about a non-military, non-policy bit of rhetoric...I assume the man has his own thoughts that he is able to express.
Has Peter Pace or any of the other Joint Chiefs expressed anger over his remarks??

Has Peter Pace or any of the other Joint Chiefs expressed anger over his remarks??Military officers can't publicly disagree with the President without risking dismissal. You need only look back to Gen Singlaub's public criticism of Jimmy Carter regarding Korea. If they disagree with the President we aren't likely to hear about it until they retire.
