Um...confession time...I am a very NEW compter used...

I was convinced for years that I didn't NEED no stinkin' computer...my husband bought me this laptop...I found FR after the Rathergate scandal...and VOILA, hooked.

So..you see, I have no glossary of OLD acronyms.

I did understand the gist of your remark to Mark..I just was curious about the YMMV.

I have a feeling my 6 year old granddaughter would have known though...sigh.

okay, back to the corner for me!

Back in the day, the MIT Jargon File was the ultimate source for figuring out the lingo. I did a quick search and couldn't find anything newer than 1991.

You may look at this acronym dictionary .
