Of course it is only reported in the Stars and Stripes but other papers in the US and networks can pick this story up.
Perhaps you might try what I do, send it to your local networks AND newspapers. Hey, then it is on them, you have at least notified them. Keep track and post it on their website if there is a place, the number of articles you pass along about the good works going on in Iraq.

Just a suggestion but copy the article and send it to your local networks and newspapers. Who knows, try, cc'ing to your congress critter's ... maybe they would wonder about a follow up??

Deadly attacks remain a near-daily occurrence. In February, the brigade in the city center saw six car bombs explode, while three others were found and diffused. There was one assassination, one suicide bomber attack and six makeshift bomb explosions, Iraqi troops said.
