Our local news is saying that MO is going to have a night of major storm activity with tornadoes in these super cells. Some of the storms are just now moving into MO from NE OK.
You are right about I-44. I have seen more nasty storms since we have lived in Norman start down in Southern OK, track up I-44 all the way into MO heading into St. Louis.

Hello,
Storms do follow I-44, but surprisingly, many of the worst seem to "skip" over us, perhaps because we are next to the Meramec River, and within a few miles of the Mississippi River. I really don't know, but we have certainly been blessed (knock on wood!). The winds are starting to pick up more now, prayers to all, please stay safe.
Glad to be here, Mogirl
