Well, neither Bush nor Cheney will resign...more likely the idea is to paralyze the administration so that they are powerless to do much of anything for the remaining two years of the term, and set things up to guarantee a Democratic victory in 2008.

Not sure who all Conyers has stated should be impeached. I think his statement about Reagan was in regards to the invasion of Grenada.....

What's more scary to me is that if the democrats get control of the House again then this guy and others like him will be in charge of some of the major committees....

Our founding fathers did a wonderful job of establishing the Constitution and government we have but the lack of term limits is one area I think they failed. Of course in their day they didn't expect someone to make a lifetime out of being a congress critter, etc.

Your rabid paranoia about the border is neither a high crime nor a misdemeanor. You lose.

I think it is a better case than the one they will bring on Iraq.-

Obviously you don't think, you feel instead. Americans are smarter then that.

ROFLMAO!!! Clueless-inoids. I wonder what "strategery" they've got in the hand behind their backs. Oh yes, they've got one. I'll just wait and watch that one burn to a fiery crash, too, just like their other ones.

If you're suggesting President Bush is guilty of treason you're more looney than the leftists.

If The New York Times likes you, nothing "rises to the level" of impeachment. If The New York Times doesn't like you, anything is more than enough.

Articles of Impeachment against George W. Bush, President of the United States, 2007:

Article One: That he permitted Vice President Cheney to report his hunting accident first to a hick town newspaper rather than to the Newspaper of Record.

Article Two: That he mispronounced the word "nuclear," thereby bringing ridicule on the United States.

Article Three: That he failed to attend annual conventions of the NAACP.

(I'm not a lawyer...the actual wording may be a little different. These aren't actually much different from the kinds of items cited in the impeachment of Andrew Johnson in 1868.)

I guess you missed the port deal polls.

We shouldn't be blindly supporting Bush on his open border with Mexico policy. But of course you are free to do that if you wish.

Others like myself are free to oppose it. - tom

Wishful thinking does not become fact just because you scream it louder and more shrilly.

"I resent being called a turdhead!! I didn't vote for those idiots."

Hehheh. I figured that might get a rise out of somebody over in The Grants.

So are you going to vote for the lady General? (Her name escapes me at the moment.)

It will be shortened up; like they did with Nixon.-

The Charge-“Richard M. Nixon has acted in a manner contrary to his trust as president and subversive of constitutional government, to the great prejudice of the cause of law and justice, and to the manifest injury of the people of the United States.”

Impeachment appeared inevitable, and Nixon resigned on Aug. 9, 1974.

If the Democrats win, yes they will impeach President Bush.

Yep. That's the top of their list of priorities, right before "balancing the budget", "wiping out the debt", and "raising your taxes".

They have a case against Bush for not securing our border with Mexico, calling those who want to stop illegal immigration "vigilantes", and not championing our sovereignty over Mexico.

Hardly evidence of impeachment.

“The fraudulent basis on which the President got us into the war in Iraq";

The 'rats voted for it. They could have voted against it.

Now they want to cry about it some more.

Don't you think the President leaving the border open to an invasion of illegals from Mexico might constitute a misdemeanor.

If that was the case, all president's since Carter should have been impeached.
