"Future Fbi Domestic terrorist suspect ping"

Street theatre, lad. Tit for tat. But, hey? Who really knows what would happen in a war of survival?

If there's another horrific 9/11 or worse attack here, what do you think will be the response? Cries of, Gee, we don't have any idea who'd blow up/nuke/ebola NY, Chicago, LA, or...(fill in the blank). Last time, some Saudi's left, a few just before the attack. Others left directly afterwards with the timely, quiet help of the Bush admin.. But where's the line in the sand, especially if attacks on US soil are carried out by homegrown Muslims such as Rakan Ben Williams purports himself to be, or those who cross into the US illegally. I'd really like to know. And if and when it happens, Muslims around the world will be dancing in the streets, but I don't think they'll be dancing for long.

Oh I have no doubt that a out of control reaction could occur if a terrorist attack happen in the USA. I commented last night I hope it doesnt occur in the next 6 months while this rethoric is so high. In my mind its not a queston of if but when. Alot of preventing terrorism attacks is intell but alot is luck. There will be times when the luck will run out.

Perhaps, however if a major attack occured the visions of American Muslim men, women and children getting killed in retaliation is something I would live to try to prevent. Or internment camps or other violation of basic civil right. It could happen but it would be pretty vile. But I got to think 9o percent of Americans are in heart decent folks that wouldnt resort to that even when all the natural human emotions are rushing through them

Hmmm. WorldNetDaily.

Forgive for wondering if "Rakan Ben Williams" is an Internet handle belonging to someone at WorldNetDaily.

"In my mind its not a queston of if but when."

So if you are so sure of that, what are you personally doing or saying to help prevent it?

Possibly. There's also a Ben Williams who plays rhythm guitar for the rock group Elephant Hunter.

Well, the first thing I am trying to do is get educated on the issues. Then helping elect people that I think can fight the war on terror the best and that support our military.. Also speaking out on these issues. I dont want another attack but Irealize over the next 30 to 50 years that we are fighting that battle the odds of an another terrrorist attack not occuring on US soil is very slim

Exactly right! Prevention has many apects. One of which is to let those who could possibly avert a disasterous attack here know ahead of time what the possible consequences could be if they allowed it to occur. The muslim community here should be up in arms (literally) against those of their religion who are bringing this down on their heads.

This is the USA they shouldnt have to fear Americans because of the action of foreigners. That is there right. The Muslim community has been cooperative with the FBI and etc. However its missed. Its missed all the time. A perfect example is what Ann Coulter did a few weeks ago by describing an guy that agreeded to go undercover in Toledo to get s extremist. She described him as a terrorist in her colummn. So if that doesnt get press and in fact if a guy risk his life and is then label a terrorist, well I got to think we have no idea what the MSM is not telling us about Moslem viewpoint.

Call it 'out of control' reaction, and that will probably have some merit -- at least from the average Muslim point of view, but considering we waited months before doing anything substantive about 9/11, you can hardly call rounding up the usual suspects 'out of control'. For many reasons the US can't afford a weak-kneed response this time, and frankly, the only thing Muslims of any stripe respect is overwhelming force. We'd have to make an example of someone...Iran, Syria, for instance. Here, we'd have to think hard about closing mosques, especially where hate rant is common fodder, although that's like cutting off our own nose to spite our face...in terms of spying on likely terrorists.

Presumably, the FBI/Homeland Security has tabs on sleeper cells, perhaps inside informants -- which might foil another attack, but why should Americans die by the hundreds of thousands so Muslims who've done little or nothing to stop murder and hate can continue life as usual? That's ridiculous, and furthermore, such reluctance on the part of the govt. to protect ordinary Americans would probably encourage vigilantism, the very thing we don't want. Martial law would probably be an option. At some point we have to acknowledge we're at war, that this isn't a robbery at a corner Quickie-Mart. Of course, if the Dems control things, we'll refer the whole nasty business to the UN, (if it's still standing).

First off Muslims are serving in our Armed Services with distinction. So to say there are doing nothing is in correct. Muslim communtiies have been cooperating with the FBI. Closing down mosque is not the answer. Again these are Americans. Their religious belief in Islam is not a reason to treat them differently. This isnt a war on ISlam. If muslim American woman and children are put into camps in this day and age well like I said the Second amendment is there for a reason when the Govt gets out of control. Who would be next. Perhaps me because I would protesting it. I wont go so freely
