As a way of saying thanks to the good members of FreeRepublic who have supported me both while I was involved at Klamath Falls, and while I wrote my Dragon's Fury Series of novels about the dangers Red China poses, I am going to offer a free Adobe eBook version of either or both of those books, "The Stand at Kalmath Falls", and "The Dragon's Fury Series Collectors Edition" (which includes all five volumes) to any registered Free Republic member who would like them.
I will email them to anyone who asks and informs me via FRemail. DO NOT put your email address on this thread in the public forum. If you would like one, or both, simply reply privately via FRemail indicating which one(s) you would like and include your actual email there. Due to band width considerations, I will collect the names at the end of each day (9 PM mountain time) and send everyone the eBooks that they request. You will need Adobe Reader on your computer to open and use them...but that's a free download and most folks already have it.
There is absolutely no obligation...although I admit to hoping that if you like the eBook you will consider at some future date adding the printed form to your traditional book library...but that's entirely your own decision.
These are the two books:
interesting...
You've got FReepMail... And thanks, Jeff.
I looked you up on Amazon.com. Who is publishing your book? I'm also curious about the spelling complaint in the customer reviews - editors hardly ever let that sort of thing get by anymore.
Hi Jeff ... I will be ordering several printed copies of your book to give as gifts ... I was proud and honored to be part of the Klamath bucket brigade.
I have found that those who take issue with my stance on certain issues (ie. abortion, China, etc.) are much more critical and nit-picky on such things...but that is just my impression.
Are you nuts? Heck yes, I'm interested. You've got FReemail and a big BTT.
bump buddy...;-)
Thanks!
Thank you. And God's best to you and yours for your involvement and help for those God-fearing and loyal American farmers in the Klamath Basin. I was proud to stand with them as well.
Hey Jeff..wanted to say thanks for the amazing offer.
I gotta get the print version...good reminder!
Dragon Fury..
The response is phenominal, so be patient with me as I wade through and respond to the requests each evening. I will probably have to start earlier than I thought...:)
On spelling--you are so right! I've bought many books, expensive ones included, both fiction and nonfiction, simply riddled with spelling, grammar and other errors. Not all editors do a good job, including some of the highest paid editors! You just figure out what they meant, and read on. Some of the books are so good, it makes the errors seem really nitpicky.
Are ya nutz? :)
FRmail in a second!!!
You're one of the good guys, Jeff...thank you!
Bump and private mail coming your way.
What a nice thing to do!
Thanks for everything.
Nope...just grateful. Hope I can find the time to respond to the requests. It's really quite phenominal and overwhelming.
I have Dragon's Fury in hard copy, but yes, I would like both in digits. FReep mail to follow. Don't worry about a rush, take care of others first.
