LISTEN TO ANDREW: WILKOW on WABC

THE NEXT GENERATION OF GREAT TALK RADIO

Andrew Wilkow is the newest and youngest member of the WABC air staff. Yes, he's in his very early 30's, but we don't want to reveal his real age because we don't want to come back and update this bio every year. He does speak a little bit of a different language than your typical WABC talk show host, but we think that's a good thing.

You should have read some of the blogs on how McCain tried to play it and his off comments... talk about V for Vendetta.

Good morning... I'm late to Andrew's show, didn't sleep much last night due to a raccoon on the roof making unbelievable noises. *YAWN*

Podcasts are a great idea!

There is a device available through C. Crane Radio Products - called "radio your way" or something like that. It is essentially a TiVo for radio, allowing you to record and listen later. It's a bit pricey - about $170 or so, I believe - but it gets good AM reception and is pretty easy to use. You can then transfer the files to a computer or listen through an external speaker if you have one, rather than just listen on the unit itself. (The unit is about the size of a cigarette pack, which is convenient but which also means that the speaker on it is very small.)

This is not an "ad" since I'm just a customer. I hope I'm not breaking any rule here. But it's a very handy little gadget. Maybe something to put on a birthday or Mother's or Father's Day list.
