The Maersk deal should have been held up due to antitrust concerns if nothing more. They own terminals, cargo ships, cargo air and rail. If any one company is now in a position to "control" the US international commerce, it is Maersk and all it's companies. The Danes are in love with the European Union. Just wait until they decide that an international tax is a good thing. They will have US by the short hairs. Security isn't isn't just about guns.

Funny the Dems for the little guy haven't mentioned how that mega deal will make it harder for small to mid-sized terminal operators to compete.

Maersk are too expensive good coverage worldwide but I have very rarely used them to ship my goods as my forwarder rarely manages to get a good price from them.

They are so big they are not interested in the odd container here and there they want bulk. Your equalivanlant of our monopolies commission should have looked at that deal.

The only thing Dems care about is the size of the campaign donations these companies/unions give them under the table.
