FOX used to be a news channel with intelligent commentary programs every night, discussing the issues of the day. Now it's all about missing women and bashing the president. You'd think there wasn't even a war going on unless it's pictures of the terrorists blowing up Baghdad.
I thought for sure FOX would fairly present what was going on, but no such luck. It's like watching the National Enquirer on film.

Everytime I turn FOX News on, there's some screwball driving some Japanese four banger on the I-10 freeway in a high speed chase in LA, or Vannity is sucking up to some leftist clown in Washington, DC.

Join the club. They thought Kerry was going to win & signed up Westley Clark, Marvin Kalb & Martin Frost. They take AP's news as standard news for their website & hype it 100 times a day.
Fox WH reporters are even worse. On Iraq, there is a Fox bureau but they lead their news stories with AP & Iraqi stringers.

When Scott Peterson was arrested, Greta and other reporterettes were almost orgasmic.
I jokingly posted that weekend something about the media going wild because Peterson got a haircut. The following Tuesday (IIRC), he actually did get a haircut, and we got 3 days of details of the new Peterson look.
After that point, any time Peterson was mentioned, regardless of the network, I changed the channel.

You are correct, Fox has gone downhill. There can only be a couple of reasons for this. One is that they felt they had the Conservatives tied down and wanted to go for a wider Audience appeal so they moved left and more tabloid-esque. Since Roger Ailes is still in Charge, he may have moved left in his old age, or married a younger liberal woman like John McLaughlin and Barry Goldwater did and be listening to too much pillow talk. They could have different Producers and Directors that lean left. I think it may be all of the aforementioned, and the fact that Rupert Murdock's children that are running the Show(like CEO) now from Overseas are not Conservative at all.

I think their straight-up news has degraded but they have been and still are much more fair and balanced than ABCCBSCNNNBC....
They have always been tabloid. They were sickening me with Chandra Levy and only stopped when 9/11 occurred.
