Yes and he and Murtha (sometimes) talk about troop w/d. The Pres has been saying for a loooonnng time that the troops will start coming home as Iraq can take over and thought it might be this year or next. They're echoing what the Prez says, but saying it's their plan - (the only 'plan' they have - - though they've been saying they were going to release their 'plan' since before the last election.
Gasbag Biden says that we could pay for more police, etc. if the Prez would spend more $$$s on that instead of StarWars. We could also have more money for police, Iraq, etc. if the CONGRESSCRITTERS would quit piling so much PORK in every budget.
Agreed. Democrats will use anything to raise taxes to punish successful people, to pay for their massive welfare programs.
From everything President Bush has said, to things written by people like Tommy Franks, the military is on schedule for Iraq. The left just doesn't like the schedule and are trying to use it for political gain.
