"The country is run by a monarchy." True. But it is also true that in this case they showed grace and understanding while our county slipped into a shameful display of bigotry. We are not responsible for the UAE being a monarchy, we are responsible for our actions.
Bigotry is stupid, and it will cost our country massive amounts of lives and money in the end. We have given our enemies a sword, and they will use it against us.

I dunno about Dubai specifically, but I'd take a free-market monarchy over a socialistic democracy any day.
