A College Republican protest of The Vagina Monologues is scrubbed-off by the university.

Earlier this week, the Network of College Conservatives (N.C.C.) reported that Boise State University downplayed a death threat made against an outspoken conservative student. Now, the N.C.C. has learned that Boise State University removed written messages by the College Republicans who were protesting the controversial feminist play.

I'm surprised that BSU (how fitting!) didn't arrest or expel the CRs for having the nerve to exercise their First Amendment rights.

It wasn't a real death threat. somebody said that he should be shot. That's about on the level with some posts that were removed here on Freep earlier today about illegal immigrants.

People shouldn't say things like that because it's easy to misunderstand and to over react to but it's not a serious threat.

And online forums have posts deleted all the time. I don't doubt that the college biased toward liberal or that its tough to be conservative there but it's character building rather than an alarming news story.

Nor do I think I would want to.... I was thinking of the female audience that such a performance attracts. I was only 6 years in old in 1970 but I have been told by older friends that the period when women could express their "liberation" through sexual activity was a joyous time indeed. In fact, sometimes they gloat over it.
