State Dept.: U.S. Hostage Tom Fox Killed

An American who was among four Christian activists kidnapped last year in Iraq has been killed, a State Department spokesman said Friday.

The FBI verified that a body found in Iraq Friday morning was that of Tom Fox, 54, of Clear Brook, Va., spokesman Noel Clay said. He said he had no information on the other three hostages.

Yes, that can be dangerous. But someone has to do it.

TROP murders an innocent Christian again. Lets see what our "good friends" in the UAE say about this.

Lets see their dictator-King get in front of the world media and condemn this vicious murder by his fellow Muslims done in the name of their so-called god!

Of course that will never happen cause they are also true believers of Islam that demands the violent death of all who reject the horrible and violent musings of its fatal prophet!

It makes me sick to hear our President praise these people and kowtow to them!

May God Almighty deliver all of mankind from the murderous bloody hands of the Islamic fascists!

All of the times our Presidents kicked the can down the road and did not deal with terror a strong message was sent that we are weak and that is why our soldiers are dying in Iraq now and also why they keep brutally killing hostages. THEY BELIEVE WE WILL CUT AND RUN LIKE BEFORE. GEORGE BUSH SURPRISED THEM ALL WHEN HE TOOK THE WAR TO THEM! PRAISE TO GEORGE W. BUSH AND OUR MILITARY!

"Iraq – a Baghdad-based presence since October 2002. Team members accompanied the Iraqi people through the U.S.-led 2003 war and continue during the post-war occupation to expose abusive acts by U.S. Armed Forces and support Iraqis committed to nonviolent resistance."

I disapprove of their focus in Iraq but I am sorry for his violent end at the hands of terrorist thugs.

"If we were serious about ending this we'd simply announce that everytime a terrorist beheaded an american citizen we'd raze a large town in the region the crime occurred and kill all the occupants. "

Yup. That's a tactic that worked well in Chechnya, (former) Yugoslavia and also one notable for keeping the Nazi's loved by the world and stopping people joining the war on the side of their enemies.

I have sympathy for any American slain by the bloody hands of Islamic fascists!

Of course I consider myself an AMERICAN and not some peon of the free traitor world.

"He was an American regardless."

One should not judge a man by the color of his Passport, but by the character of the man....

I've become a LOT more selective of whom I think of as "Americans"....

To me, being an American is more a statement of the spirit and heart......than just the place of residence.

I was sick to my stomach when I heard this. It also sickens me that not much has been reported about the many Iraqi Christians who died in this war.

It amazes me how the friends of these hostages apply western values to the terrorists. For instance, when Daniel Pearl was kidnapped, I recall comments that the family called him Daniel so that the terrorists would see him as a person.

I am very sorry for this man. I am more sorry if his kidnapping caused the deaths of any American soldiers because of increased patrols.

I was sick to my soul when I heard this. It also sickens me to know that countless Iraqi Christians have been killed in this war -- being in the wrong place, at the wrong time.

Lay down your head Tom Fox...

I expect this ole boy lost his head by being a dumba$$....America should heed this example....this is the result of being compassionate to these ignorant animals. There is only one solution...kill them all and let allah sort out the virgin eligible!!

>>Clay said he did not know how Fox was killed but said additional forensics will be done in the United States.<<

I can't imagine who will be stuck with the bill for transporting the remains back to the good ol' U.S. of A., and the post-mortem. Okay, yes I can, and it makes me sick.

One report said there was evidence he'd been tortured...why are we not hearing the Leftist decrying the terrorist's use of torture...and a anti-war civilian no less?

Oh, that's right...liberals are hypocrites.

I was wondering about her last night, if she was still alive, how difficult it must be to keep someone captive, feed them, etc., for this length of time. Is it worth it from their perspective? Or do they get more prestige among their terror loving pals by dumping body parts in the street.
