Well, I'm with you Pippin...off for the evening. Hope tomorrow is a better day.
Thank you for the Hospitality Gretchen.
See you all later.
Sleep well. Be safe.

I didn't know that. How funny!
I just loved how absurd the cast of Newhart sounded when Bob described them to Emily. Just a stroke of genius!
(Don't remember the sweater comment.......can you remind me?)

Good luck, Pippin. Don't forget that Reagan was given the same treatment, and today he's an acknowledged HERO!

How about doing something by post and very locally even if it is only putting a few leaflets through doors.
Do you have a local council? Do they have Republican candidates or Councilors - sorry not sure how this works in the States. In Britain each largist town has their own district council. For example even out of election cycles the local Lib Dems are always putting leaflets through our door promoting what their councilors are doing. Maybe there is something real local you could get involved with.

Prayers for Mike's cousin!

That paragraph says it ALL, Pat! You are SO right......every word of what you said is absolutely right.
My ultimate dream would be to just sit down and talk with either or both of them.........maybe particularly Laura. I just feel like we could be friends........and I'm sure others do too.
What an amazing gift they have. Like you, I've never seen anything like it...........and I've been paying attention for a VERY long time.

After Bob described everyone to her and turned out the light...Bob said something along the lines of...
"Emily"
"Yes"
"Maybe you should wear more sweaters"
...that only better. It was just soo funny. And very male.

Allen has stabbed the President in the back a few times -- Cindy Sheehan immediately comes to mind.
I'm going to wait and see what the field looks like in late 2007 and go from there!

Absolutely. Wise way to go. I think a wise decision is needed - and if we find ourselves with a Perot, we should take him by the ears and give him to Disneyland. This is important, we must be wise.
Do we need a class for wisdom - or was it on the job training?
