"Exit polls are skewed by voters who understand the importance of having a secret ballot and decline to answer."

That's my point! One reason current polls feature more Democrats than Republicans is because more Democrats than Republicans want to be polled . . . NOT because Democrats grossly outnumber Republicans in the broader population! For this reason, responsible pollsters WEIGHT their samples to create a more REPRESENTATIVE result!!!

I used to pay more attention to Kellyanne...until I saw that she wrote a book with a Democrat pollster...(the name escapes me)...

and they just seemed so chummy...it rubbed me the wrong way,...especially since I had seen that Dem pollster on other shows being quite nasty about Pres. Bush.

I also have come to respect what YOU bring us...but, thanks for the info about Kellyanne anyway. She was pretty whiney tonight.

Short separations are nice from time to time. The homecomings are so very special and makes us realize how to appreciate each other more. Personally, I think some alone time is good for marriages.

"He does wear jeans well, doesn't he?"

Uh, yeah. but then again, he wears everything well. Because, I think, he wears himself well. If you're comfortable in your own skin, you're comfortable in any clothes.

Now that I think about that, I think I'm giving myself another heart attack!!!!

but to quote Jackie Gleason (and you may be too young for that) "What a way to go!"

I must admit I am fussy about pillows and when I go camping or somewhere like a holiday village I often take my pillow.

I take a pillow with me too, snugs. It's something that a lot of REAL people do.

When the press mocked him for it, they only made themselves look like idiots.

(Which, of course, wasn't the least bit difficult for them.....)

I agree. The homecomings are particularly sweet, and the time apart is not only good for you as an individual, but heightens your appreciation for being together.

It's a 'take the other person for granted' stopper.

I think about that a lot with the First Couple. When they have to be separated, I'm sure their love for each other grows. It's a good thing........as long as it doesn't happen TOO often!

I am most definitely NOT too young for Jackie Gleason. :)

And you're right about the 'comfortable in his own skin' thing. It makes him relaxed in anything he wears.

Want some more examples of other kinds of clothes? (I'm here by myself, and I need diversion. :)
