Gay, lesbian, and bisexual people are at particular risk in our society. They are surrounded by images and references that imply the unacceptability of their own feelings and identity. Heterosexuality is simply taken for granted as the way to be. Many sexuality education curricula assume all students are heterosexual. When sexual orientations are considered, homosexuality is often the only one examined. All young people benefit from learning about sexual orientationtheir own and others. This education helps young people understand not only sexual development and orientation, but also the effect of stereotyping, homophobia, and prejudice on peoples lives. The activities in this section are designed to help young people look at sexual orientation in a broad context; examine their beliefs and feelings about sexual orientation; consider what it might be like for a person who is growing up gay, lesbian or bisexual; and identify ways that an individual might cope with discrimination and obtain support.

I suggest that those that are interested go to this site and feast your eyes on some very disturbing inaccuracies and direct contradictions..

Who promotes this filth?
ping.
The government is the enemy of children.
Your government.
There are contradictions right from the get go. To wit:
Many sexuality education curricula assume all students are heterosexual. When sexual orientations are considered, homosexuality is often the only one examined.
Maybe they are suggesting that heterosexuality is not an "orientation"?
Oh there's many more, lets see if we can spot them all.. ??

Thank you Captain Obvious.
It's time to tie all these perverts in a bag.
Out of 18 members of this "task force", why are only 3 men and all are from liberal organizations?
Thing is; that it's prepared in a very formal and scientific looking way, however, other than opinion POLL, it lacks any real science, actually, I found NO scientific facts..
Odd, how this is the bible for developing K-12 Curricula in this country..
Also, did you know that only 11 states actually mandate any kind of sex-ed training? The Federal Gov't has NO position on the issue; furthermore, of the 11 states that advocate (mandate) sex-ed, only 3 of them require sexual orientation to be included..
So can someone tell me why, then, in 38 states in the union, we have sexual orientation (Described almost verbaitum to this study)being taught?? Who's behind the guiding force, if only three states require it??

Whoever wrote this is going to Hell. I hope very soon.
Mark to read later
So criminals, pedophiles, and murderers must really feel unaccepted, according to the public school system. If that is "prejucice" then the new psychology is hard at work.
The old measure that right is right and wrong is wrong is thrown out and "situation ethics" comes into play. Just another ploy to "recruit", and to demoralize the younger generation.
God's Book says to love the person, but hate the act, for sin is sin, no matter what the school book says!

Didn't read it all, but wondered if there is any mention of the mortality rate of those who practice strange sex? Is it true, (according to what I've read several times) that it cuts 20 years off your life?
By the way, this article was very hard to find..
I was working on it today as I finished reading Micael Savage's book "The Enemy Within"; in the next-to-last chapter he talks about sex-ed and makes reference to this study, so I had to find out for myself if it was true. I spent a good couple of hours trying to nail it down, and finally struck gold..
Here are a few contradictions..
Page 141 "The understanding and identification of ones sexual orientation may change during life."
Contradicted here on page 140 "Sexual orientation cannot be changed by therapy or medicine."
"Sexual orientation refers to whether a person is heterosexual, homosexual or bisexual." Page 140
Wait, aren't they missing a few? How about those that are sexually "oriented" towards children, or animals??
"Many young people have brief sexual experiences
(including fantasies and dreams) with the same gender,
but they mainly feel attracted to the other gender."
Is this true? This is news to me..
"Homosexual and bisexual people are often mistreated,
called hurtful names, or denied their rights because of
their sexual orientation."
And what rights would those be exactly??
"Gay men, lesbian women, and bisexuals can lead fulfilling
lives."
Perhaps, but, to be intellectually honest, the fact is that MOST of them live depressed and unfullfilling lives..
"Gay men and lesbian women can establish lifelong
committed relationships."
Truth is that only 1% of the 3% of gay and lesbian men and women in this country actually have a monogamous relationship lasting more than two years; and even less past 5 years.. This makes it sound that everyone that is gay is enjoying the benefits of a stabke relationship??
"Gender identity is determined by a persons feelings of
maleness or femaleness."
Really? Says who?
"Forming a sexual identity is a key developmental task
of adolescence.2"
And then says this..
"Uncertainty about sexual orientation declined with
age, from 25.9 percent of 12-year-old students to 5
percent of 17-year-old students."
So this explains why (since they can't reproduce in a traditonal sense) they may want to be in our schools.. They want that 25.9% before they realize their identity..
Look I'm not making this stuff up people..
This is very real.. And if you were not worried about homosexual indoctrination before, you should be after reading this..
D
It's time to tie all these perverts in a bag.
And throw it in the river.
Guess how many of the 18 are in "committed relationships" with members of the same sex.
Those who stand for nothing will fall for anything...
Sounds reasonable to me that an "alternative lifestyle" could produce an "alternative life span." But who are we to say that there's anything necessarily wrong with that?
