If you know anything about how the courts imposed same sex marriage you would also know that the Governor has no more say that any other citizen of the state. His message at the time and since is that he opposes the decision, has worked to counter it, and continues to.

Since we know that Robert Byrd was a KKK member, should we all say, just because Sen's Kennedy and Kerry are liberal, that all of Massachusetts are liberal and all residents of W. Virginia must be KKK members?

Mitt Romney stands out as a beacon of conservatism in a state that is becoming more conservative by the year. It is not taxachusetts anymore, they don't have Dukakis to kick around anymore, and a very conservative woman, Kerry Healy is the front-runner to be next governor.

To say in the same paragraph using the words, Mormon and liberal to convey a cogent thought shows how little you know of LDS.

Oh yea, of course I dont know what Im talking about. Of course you sit on dps board of directors and you also are a consultant to the world wide shipping industry, not to mention you are probably a business atty specializing in port transactions. Give me a break, no one knows the entire story here, nor will they ever. Fyi, dp never got the certificate for operating standards, ie, they are not legally able to manage that port. Obviously, in this case the denial was political, however, dp did not secure the certificate prior to completing this transaction. Get it now? I bet you dont.

You are incorrect. DPW received the required approval from the Committee on Foreign Investment in the U.S. (CFIUS) so where are you coming up with the certificate for operating standards? Since you're touting this as some type of certificate DPW didn't get, please provide information about this certificate.

By the way, while you're addressing this "certificate for operating standards", please also post which ports DPW was going to manage.

I won't hold my breath for either answer.

There's a way he could have overcome that. Drop the pro-choice crap, refuse to enforce that forced morning-after pill law, and run for re-election as a total, unabashed conservative.

If he gets 45 percent and loses, he enters the primary as a conservative hero who tried his best in liberal Massachusetts. And if by some chance he actually wins, then he's the easy 08 frontrunner. Either way, he also strengthens the conservative movement in the state.

But he's too late, he's already established himself as shaky on right-to-life issues, he's too chicken to run again because he doesn't want to lose, and he's Mormon, all of which work against him.

So limiting individual liberty to purchase goods where best they can be found for the best price is your idea of freedom?

There was a fellow named Pat Tillman who gave up a great deal of money to join the military. He then gave his life.

Now, I wonder, why would he do that? Perhaps because he cared about the greater good of all Americans?

Yet, to hear you tell it, doing something for the good of this country is inane at best. And if economic patriotism asks too much, then surely anything more is simply too inconvenient to consider.

So, by all means, avoid economic patriotism. I cannot help wondering how long the nation will survive the insidious burrowing of the free traitors. Not long, I think.

I'm just telling you how the rest of the country is going to see it. Out here in the west, Mormon wouldn't hold him back, it's going to be the reputation of MA. It doesn't matter what he does or what he says people won't trust him. That's the simple truth of the matter and you can stick your head in the sand if you want, but it's not going to change the facts.

You neednt hold your breath for an answer. I will close with you on this note however since no amt of logic can reach your mind. You sound just like the liberals who love to bash the USA no matter what. Of course the port fiasco was handled badly, but oh well, lots of things are handled badly. You need to quit spewing blame on this country and stand behind its decisions regarding overseas issues, otherwise you might as well be sean penn and play grown up in hollywood. Politics end at the waters edge.

It would be one thing if you'd supplied any logic but you were unable to address my question about some certificate you claimed DWP failed to secure.

Needless to say since you were incapable of explaining what this supposed certificate was, you felt forced to resort to fabricated accusations of I'm bashing and spewing blame on my country.

but oh well, lots of things are handled badly

Especially your handling or rather lack of being able to handle simple questions about purported documents you pull out of thin air.

Do you always have problems answering direct questions? Or when asked a direct question which you're unable to answer is your preferred manner of operation one of attack? Has no one ever pointed out to you obfuscation is a liberal trait and is one you've exhibited on this thread? You poor dear. Bless your little heart.

As he ascends in the polls, going right by Allen, I think you will find out the kind of man Mitt Romney is. He's the kind of man that will become a winning candidate, the kind you will support.
