I fail to see how any of this relates to geography.

I fail to see how any of this relates to geography. Easy. He thought Bush wanted to rule the world. Geography! For liberals, anything that bashes Bush qualifies as appropriate course study while being paid with taxpayer dollars.

The geography courses of today are called Mental Mapping. As I've heard it described severals times lately, it is to find out the concept of what students "perceive" a place (city, state or country) to be like, look like, feel like, etc. Then to find out from them where they would like to live and how they perceive it. Apparently it's is more of a study for teachers and schools to find out how kids think, probably find out what their influences at home are, then throw in a lot of liberal indoctrination. It appears there is little actual geography taught in these classes.

It is strange to me that Geography is a high school elective, or required course.
When I was in public school, back in the 50s, geography was taught in Elementary school. I can still see the textbook in my mind.
It was the start of my learning about the world, prior to my becoming a ham radio operator and contacting someone in every country of the world.
