And if it was balanced, you'd still see Bush with low poll numbers so we all need to get over the fact that Bush isn't well received at this time. It's not like Bush is Reagan. At least Reagan tried to reduce government involvement in our lives.

That is such BS for starters - Additionally Reagan would completely find it foolish that you use his name in a Vs him against a good man like GWB.

Your premise is the only thing that is "not Reagan like" here.

I find it extremely odd that the conservative folks who despise George Bush because of illegal immigration have forgotten or are ignorant to the fact that it was Ronald Reagan's administration that gave illegals blanket amnesty in the first place.

Now Bush wants an immigration bill passed that will not have amnesty at all, but will allow guest workers that can stay for only a few years, and then if they're not violating the law and they're paying taxes, social security, etc, and the business hiring them follows all the laws also (IMHO a HUGE problem right now). Still, just the other day I heard this bill referred to as the "Bush Shamnesty".

Devsix,

I am glad to know that you have conversations with Reagan and that you KNOW what he would think.

And your idiotic and irrational post makes you sound like a foolish neosocialist democrat that is more concerned with personalities than adhering to an ideaology.
