Pardon me, but why do we need to waste money on a bridge? They don't need no stinkin bridge, just come across where the fence isn't!

Snip: The United States and Mexico have reached agreement on the timeline for building and opening an international bridge that will connect Mission with the western outskirts of Reynosa.

Anzalduas International Crossing at Granjeno, to be located three miles up the Rio Grande from the Hidalgo-Reynosa International Bridge, is set to provide cross-border commuters two southbound lanes, two northbound lanes and a pedestrian walkway.

This announcement, in view of recent immigration issues, is poorly timed. At least they haven't announced ribbon cutting ceremonies yet. The bridge is necessary to keep illegals from drowning - this way they have a safe route to our country (gritting teeth and questioning the motives of whoever sanctioned this and remembering the adage "build it and they will come....").
