This announcement, in view of recent immigration issues, is poorly timed. At least they haven't announced ribbon cutting ceremonies yet. The bridge is necessary to keep illegals from drowning - this way they have a safe route to our country (gritting teeth and questioning the motives of whoever sanctioned this and remembering the adage "build it and they will come....").
Oh yes I forgot about the drowning lawsuit. grrrr
One would think if you'e stupid enough to cross a strong flowing river and not a strong swimmer that you cannot sue, but that's just me. Oh, and I must add ILLEGALLY!
