Low calorie soft drink recalled in Scotland
Snip: SUPERMARKETS have been ordered to withdraw soft drinks from their shelves after a number of the popular products were contaminated by a potentially cancer-causing chemical.
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) ordered the products to be withdrawn after finding levels of benzene at nearly treble the guideline limits in a Co-op own-brand drink. Three other soft drinks on sale throughout the UK also contained levels of the chemical exceeding World Health Organisation guidelines.
Nuclear reactor shut down in Florida

Florida Power & Light, the state's largest electric utility, and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission declined to elaborate on what was damaged or how bad the damage was, citing security reasons.
German nuclear plant owners lose keys
Snip: German nuclear power station officials have admitted losing the keys to top security areas within their own plant. The Philippsburg nuclear plant in Germany is now under investigation after owners reported that they have been searching for the keys to vital areas around the reactors since March 10.
The plant is run by German company EnBW, which reportedly took an entire week to inform the authorities about the loss of the keys. Prosecutors have opened an investigation "against unknown perpetrators" for theft.
