No threat after hospital "terror" arrests
LONDON (Reuters) - Police who arrested four men under anti-terrorism laws at a hospital in central England said on Thursday said there was no evidence of a terrorist incident or threat.
But they were continuing to hold the men while they tried to unravel the "complex set of circumstances" that led to the arrests at Stafford District General Hospital on Wednesday night.
Buckingham Palace confirmed that a planned visit by Queen Elizabeth to Stafford on Friday was going ahead as planned.(snip)
The man remains "very ill" and doctors are conducting tests to establish what is wrong with him.(snip)
