If my child were exposed to TB in school I would be mad as hell. My daughter was in elementary school when a lot of the boat people were allowed to come to California. Shortly thereafter she came home with lice. I was furious and went to the school asking why these people who had just come here were not screened for health and other things. The school told me it wasn't their responsibility and acted like I was wrong for complaining.

In other words the same thing is happening here only with worse medical infectious conditions and no one gives a rats ass.

And, the other story on glass in the baby food at HEB doesn't surprise me at all. They are a Texas grocery chain and IMO the worst store I have ever shopped in. They play games with pricing, they try to sell produce that is wilted, brown and they now cater to the mexican food palate.

Me too. I have a hard time understanding how thousands of American citizens can be exposed to virulent diseases due to the nonchalant "deal with it" attitude of our nation's medical community and a government that seems to be disinterested in keeping it's people healthy with any degree of urgency - knowing full well the illegals are bringing in third world country diseases and infecting us.

To make matters worse, the illegals get free medical treatment while many of us live without health insurance and do not seek medical care because we cannot afford medical treatment.

That's just it, no one takes responsibility for the cause of the problem. I see no activists concerned about protecting Americans from TB. I do see scores of Americans being tested for TB while the names and countries of origin of those carrying the disease are NOT given.

Treatment of TB

Snip: A big problem in TB management is completion of the treatment. Once the treatment begins, the symptoms start disappearing and the patient feels normal and thinks there is no need to continue the treatment. But the symptoms disappear because the bacillary population comes down. But some with the potential to carry the disease are still there. Similarly once the treatment is stopped the disease will relapse.

The main reason why people do not complete the treatment is because they do not like to travel long distances for the sake of drugs although they have been told that this can cause a relapse. TB sufferers who stop halfway through their course may not react positively to subsequent treatment and could be passing their own death sentences.

Multi-Drug Resistant TB is a huge problem. It takes 2 years and $250,000 to cure and the cure has very toxic side effects. I guess the open border lobbyists didn't think about this. Very scary.
