OPINION: Your guess is as good as mine.
My guess is that there is probably more, but you have to overturn a lot of rocks to find them.

Here's another Cindy, Courtesy of Drudge

Members of the Indiana Federation for Immigration Reform and Enforcement and the Chicago Minuteman Project tangle with counterprotesters Saturday morning outside Bank Calumet in Munster. Federation and Minuteman members were protesting the bank offering home loans to undocumented immigrants. A fight broke out between several members of each group, prompting police to separate the two groups of marchers.

Immigration protest erupts in fisticuffs

PROTEST: Slurs, hot tempers highlight countering demonstrations at Bank Calumet

MUNSTER I Blaring car horns, racist slurs and angry fisticuffs punctuated a volatile encounter of protesters and counter-protesters Saturday morning outside Bank Calumet.

"God bless America! Stay out of our business!" yelled members of the locally based Indiana Federation for Immigration Reform and Enforcement.

"Go home (expletive) Nazi racists!" yelled members of an opposing group of circling counterprotesters.

FAIR Urges Senate to Pass an Immigration Enforcement Bill Without Illegal Alien Amnesty or Guest Worker Provision

FAIR strongly opposes the bill offered by Judiciary Committee Chairman Arlen Specter (R-PA.), as well as similar ones introduced by Senators John McCain (R-AZ.) and Edward Kennedy (D-MA.), and Senators John Cornyn (R-TX) and John Kyl (R-AZ).

Even though deliberations in the Judiciary Committee were stalled over the last two weeks, it is widely expected that a ‘back room’ compromise has been reached that will be approved by the Judiciary Committee on Monday,” said FAIR’s President Dan Stein.

Sen. Frist’s bill offers little more in combating the illegal immigration crisis than the others.

FAIR strongly supports legislation that allows the United States to protect its borders and jobs of American workers.

“What the American public wants is very clear,” observed Stein. “They want the immigration laws of this country enforced and they do not want to see millions of people who broke the law rewarded.

"Sydney bomb plot link to race riots, murderer"
Monday March 27, 2006

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "A woman charged at the weekend with plotting to bomb Sydney was a convert to Islam who planned the attack at the behest of a jailed murderer angered over anti-Muslim race riots here late last year.

Jill Courtney, 26, was arrested at her suburban Sydney home on Friday in a swoop by Federal and local police operating under anti-terrorism laws.

She was charged with conspiracy to murder and conspiracy to cause explosives to be placed in or near a public place.

The court granted a request by Courtney's lawyer that the woman be assessed by a psychiatrist.

Police were not required to detail the allegations against Courtney during a brief court hearing yesterday, but Sunday newspapers quoted police sources saying they believed she was acting out of love for a jailed murderer, Hassan Kalache."

It's the cockroach theory, for every one you see, there are at least a hundred you don't see.

But it's good that at least some of them are unmasked.

Mexican police find six men handcuffed, shot to death
Associated Press/Dallas Morning News ^ | 3/27/06 | n/a

Posted on 03/26/2006 11:02:01 PM PST by txroadkill

GENERAL BRAVO, Mexico – The bodies of six men – blindfolded, handcuffed and shot to death – were found Sunday packed inside a pickup truck on the side of a highway leading to the Texas border.

Authorities discovered the victims in General Bravo, a town about 55 miles from Reynosa, across the border from McAllen, Texas, said Camerino Ortiz, a spokesman for police in General Bravo.

Ortiz said one of those killed was in the cabin and the rest were stashed in the back of the truck. All had their eyes taped with bandages and were handcuffed with their feet tied.

Marcelo Garza, director of investigations for Nuevo Leon state, where General Bravo is located, said investigators found a message inside the truck. It said: "This is a message for those in the Gulf Cartel, traitorous pals."

Authorities say violence in Nuevo Laredo and across northeast Mexico has been on the rise since March 2003, when reputed Gulf cartel leader Osiel Cardenas was arrested during a shootout in Matamoros, across the border from Brownsville, Texas.

Investigators believe another gang leader, Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman, has been fighting smugglers loyal to Cardenas to gain access to drug smuggling routes in Nuevo Laredo and other border cities.

So far this year, 60 people have been slain in Nuevo Laredo, home to about 300,000.

"Chavez says to greet "gringo" invaders with arrows"
Reuters ^ | Mar 27, 2006

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "CARACAS, Venezuela (Reuters) - Venezuela's President Hugo Chavez on Sunday said he would have a nasty welcome waiting for U.S. forces he insists are preparing to invade his country -- arrows laced with Indian poison.

The left-wing former soldier, who has ordered his military to train civilian reserves for a guerrilla war, including the use of bows and arrows, often accuses Washington of planning to invade to control Venezuela's vast oil reserves.

U.S. officials dismiss his assassination and invasion charges as populist rhetoric meant to mobilise supporters before presidential elections in December."

Iraqi Special Ops Forces Conduct Baghdad Raid

American Forces Press Service

BAGHDAD, March 26, 2006 – Iraqi special operations forces conducted a twilight raid today in the Adhamiyah neighborhood in northeast Baghdad to disrupt a terrorist cell responsible for attacks on Iraqi security and coalition forces and kidnapping Iraqi civilians in the local area.
As elements of the 1st Iraqi Special Operations Forces Brigade entered their objective, they came under fire. In the ensuing exchange of fire, the Iraqi forces killed 16 insurgents. As they secured their objective, they detained 15 more individuals.

Also, one individual being held hostage by the insurgents was freed. That person, a non-Westerner, whose identity was not made public, was being debriefed and repatriated,.

While searching the objective, the Iraqi special operations forces also discovered a cache with materials used to make improvised explosive devices and other weapons and ammunition. The materials were destroyed at the scene.

U.S. special operations forces were on scene to advise only. No Iraqi or U.S. forces were killed during this operation. One Iraqi soldier received a wound that is not life threatening.

This intelligence-focused, precision operation was conducted during twilight hours to ensure no civilians were in the area and to minimize the possibility of collateral damage.

No mosques were entered or damaged during this operation.

"China increases espionage within Russia and abroad"

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "(UPI)- Russia's Federal Security Service or FSB, the successor to the Soviet-era KGB, has arrested Russian scientist Oleg Korobeinikov and charged him with disclosing classified information.

Interfax news agency reported Wednesday 23 that Korobeinikov has given a written pledge to the FSB not to leave the area and is currently being interrogated by the FSB.

Korobeinikov heads a laboratory of combustion kinetics at the Institute of Chemical Kinetics and Combustion in the Siberian branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The FSB would not comment on the case.

Korobeinikov is well-known in Russia and abroad and is an associate fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. He has published over 170 articles and monographs.

Analysts speculate that the recipient of the data was either the United States or China.

The Korobeinikov case is the latest in a series of prominent espionage cases brought by the FSB against prominent Russian researchers in the last few years."

"Blast on Philippine Island Leaves 9 Dead"
Mar 27th - 12:39am
By TERESA CEROJANO Associated Press Writer

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "MANILA, Philippines (AP) - An explosion at a grocery store on a violent southern island where U.S. troops recently conducted joint counterterrorism exercises killed at least nine people Monday, police said.

The explosion, which left about a dozen people injured, took place in downtown Jolo on Jolo island, about 590 miles southeast of Manila, said police Senior Superintendent Ahirun Ajirim.

He said it was not immediately clear what caused the explosion on the island, a stronghold of the al-Qaida-linked Abu Sayyaf rebels. Initial reports indicated the explosive device was stashed in a bag that was left by someone at a ground-floor baggage counter, he said.

Philippine police and U.S. troops who took part in recent counterterrorism exercises arrived in the area shortly after the explosion.

In February, when the exercises began, a bombing at a karaoke bar killed one person and wounded 28 near Jolo's army headquarters. The incident was blamed on Abu Sayyaf."
